2020

  • Renamed Jenn Feng Industrial Tools Co., Ltd.
  • Developed a new trigger mechanism with mistouch prevention for power tools, which can be broadly applied to several power tools for improved safety. This mechanism was awarded patents and certifications.

2019

  • Introduced 18V 3-in-1 power tool (angle grinder + sander + polisher) featuring brushless motor. Being the world’s only multifunctional power tool, the product was favorably accepted worldwide.
  • Developed new power drill stator structure featuring smart rotary control, and received patents and certifications.
  • Introduced 18V high-torque impact drill featuring brushless motor and LCD data display. The outstanding design and quality distinguished the product from the rest of the market.

2018

  • Introduced saber saw featuring brushless motor for use in fruit and bamboo plantations.
  • Developed 650Nm high-torque impact wrench featuring brushless motor. The product was used in professional car servicing worldwide and recognized recognition from users.

2017

  • Developed lighting device with maximum light-gathering effect, which increased light-gathering efficiency by 20% to deliver the best performance in the industry. This breakthrough was awarded patents and certifications in six countries.
  • Developed dual-sided LED lighting on power tools and received patents and certifications.
  • Received patents and certifications for the new motor stator.

2016

  • Many of the Company’s professional power drills were rated favorably and adopted in Europe and USA.
  • Developed dual-blade, scissor-type lawn mower.
  • Developed new brushless motor for high-torque impact driver in professional applications, which was named product of the year in 2016.

2015

  • Many of the LED lighting equipment received favorable reviews from world-reputable magazines in Europe.
  • The Company’s digital motor programing skills won the recognition and collaboration of a premium lighting equipment brand from Germany.
  • Developed a chainless design for quick assembly/disassembly of garden chainsaw, which was awarded with patents and certifications.
  • Expanded production of digital motors at the new plant, which was adopted by world-renowned brands as well as the Company’s proprietary brand at mass volume.
  • Obtained patents on LED equipment and used the technology in fishing lamps for fishing vessels and auxiliary lights in cars.

2014

  • Began production and shipment of customized brushless motor products.
  • Developed “spot light” technology and applied for patents in multiple countries.

  • Acquired KTO Technology Co., Ltd. and ventured into the CIGS industry.
  • Signed a business transfer agreement with Husqvarna AB (publ).

  • Phase 2 of the new plant was completed and commissioned into use, and the number of employees was 279.
  • Annual revenue was reported at NT$1,777.8 million.
  • Shares were approved for public offering by the Securities and Futures Bureau.
  • Capital was increased to NT$432.15 million.
  • Phase 1 of the new plant was completed and commissioned into use.

  • Increased capital to NT$197 million.
  • Began construction of factories using modern standards, including phase 1 project with 81,857 square feet of area and phase 2 project with 96,093 square feet of area.

  • Successfully researched and developed a series of products such as the driver drills with series motor, corded angle grinders, corded jigsaws, and sanders. They were sold to the U.S. and Canadian markets.

  • Awarded ISO 9002 and BSI certificates for the European Common Market, and OEM production.
  • Marketed products to the global market under its proprietary brand – TALON.
  • Generated NT$960 million of revenues for the year.

  • Received OEM orders from German brands METABO.

1990

  • The Power Tool Division began cooperating with RYOBI (Japan) on an OEM arrangement.

1989

  • Increased capital to NT$120 million. The plant has a total area of over 188,627 square feet and 160 employees.
  • The automotive lighting had three patents.
  • The introduction of Total Quality Control (TQC)

1988

  • Purchased the 3rd plant, and the area was 85,416 square feet. The Lighting Manufacturing Division moved to the 3ed plant.
  • Power Tools won four patents.

1987

  • Increased capital to NT$50 million.
  • Expanded business activities to include manufacturing and trading of household low-voltage garden light. Business activities were expanded into three main categories: I.Manufacturing of automotive lights; II.Manufacturing of household lights; and III. Manufacturing of DIY power tools.
  • Annual turnover of NT$526 million. Begun to diversify into the hardware industry and transformed into the diversification successfully.

1985

  • Increased capital to NT$30 million.
  • Ventured into the power tool business after acquiring motor- and gear-making machinery from Tung Yun Power Tool Factory.
  • Purchased ALTOS mini computers and hired a professional consultancy firm to help develop full computerized processes and standardized procedures at plant premise.
  • Automotive lighting awarded four patents.

1984

  • Increased capital to NT$20 million; 120 employees.
  • More than 60 products, including reading lamps, license plate lamps, and third brake lamps for automobiles, all of which have been certified by the U.S. SAE; the main sales regions are the U.S., Canada, and Southeast Asia.
  • Annual turnover exceeded NT$172 million.

1983

  • Purchased the second plant, and it inaugurated in February of the following year.

1981

  • The Company increased capital to NT$10,000,000, reorganized into Jenn Feng Industrial Tools Co., Ltd.
  • The area of the new plant was 8,897.5 square feet; the number of employees was 80.
  • The automotive lighting won several patents; generated more than NT$92 million in revenues.

1980

  • Sold products under the trademark of Jenn Feng.
  • We have developed more than 20 products, four of which have been approved by SAE.

1977

  • Automotive Auxiliary Lighting Division founded; started shipping products to countries including Italy, UK, Indonesia, and Singapore.
